Opportunities

We are currently looking for postdoctoral researchers and doctoral students.

Prospective students should be enrolled in a qualifying Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. program at Harvard in order to join the lab. No specific background is required. If you are interested, please reach out to Luke with your C.V.

Prospective postdocs should hold or expect to receive a Ph.D. or equivalent in a computational field. Expertise in statistical genetics specifically is not required. Salary will be higher than the typical range. If you are interested, please reach out to Luke with your C.V., a brief description of your research interests, and a PDF of one recent publication or preprint.

If you join the lab, possible areas of research include:

1.    Comparing the genetic architecture of rare vs. common genetic variation
2.    Development of methods to analyze GWAS data using graphical models
3.    Applying cutting-edge methods to understand the genetic architecture of autism 
4.    Analysis of rare protein coding genetic association data using machine learning-derived functional features
